Troop 1191 – Monthly Campout Guidelines

The following guidelines pertain to all monthly campouts for Troop 1191 by Registered Scouts and Adults.

Meal Prep –

  • Each patrol will be responsible for buying and cooking their own meals during the campout. Meals are to be cooked at the campout – no canned dinners. Food group selections are encouraged. Patrol members will take turns buying the food. The cost of the food is divided equally among the patrol members who go on the campout. Food costs are typically $5.00 to $10.00 per scout.

  • Headcount, menu, cook, and buyer is planned the troop meeting before the campout.

  • If you plan to attend a campout and food has been purchased for you, you will owe the purchaser your share of the costs if you cannot attend the campout unless the purchaser is notified the Thursday before the departure to the campout. This applies to scouts and adults.
